The Amherst County Lancers basketball squad (Amherst, VA), was nudged 37-32 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA)

With the victory, Jefferson Forest advances its record to 10-10 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Glass (Lynchburg, VA) to meet the Hilltoppers in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 15. The Hilltoppers enter the battle with a record of 2-9.
