Kentucky High School Basketball - Danville crushes Russell County
February 15, 2022: Danville, KY 40422 Danville Admirals (Danville, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY), 83-61 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Danville upgrades its record to 13-13 on the season. The Admirals host Somerset (Somerset, KY) to clash with the Briar Jumpers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 17. The Briar Jumpers go into the bout with a record of 9-14. Somerset lost 57-49 in their recent non-league bout against Adair County (Columbia, KY)
Next up, the Lakers clash with the Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 18. Russell County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-21 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 18-10 record after their 57-50 non-league win over Wayne County (Monticello, KY).
