Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY), 95-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pulaski County upgrades its record to 25-1 on the campaign. The Maroons host Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Monday, February 14. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 10-10. Mercer County won 71-33 in their recent league bout against Burgin (Burgin, KY)

Next up, the Lakers play the Danville Admirals (Danville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 15. Russell County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-20 season record. The Admirals come into the bout with a 12-13 record after their 61-48 league loss to Lincoln County (Stanford, KY).
