Fans at Friday's league challenge between the DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) and the host The Heights (Potomac, MD), saw DeMatha's basketball squad wallop The Heights by a tally of 95-62.

With the victory, DeMatha improves its record to 17-11 on the campaign. The Stags travel to Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA) to confront the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 17. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 8-14. Saint John Paul the Great Catholic won 94-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Christ Chapel Academy (Woodbridge, VA)
