The St. Mary's Ryken Knights basketball team (Leonardtown, MD), dropped 68-48 in Friday's league battle with the visiting DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD)

The Stags now possess a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paul VI for a VISAA Division I battle on Sunday, February 11. DeMatha will battle a Panthers team coming off a 86-61 league win over Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 24-2.

The Knights (10-16) will now prepare for their battle against St. John's (Washington, DC). The Cadets come into the DCSAA AA battle with a 20-5 record. In their last contest, St. John's ran past Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA), 69-64, in a non-league contest.
