The South Charlotte Thunder Thunder (Matthews, NC) basketball nipped the host Forsyth Home Educators Hawks (Winston-Salem, NC), 54-48 in Friday's non-league test.

The Thunder (19-11) will now prepare for their test against Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC). The Stallions go into the non-league test with a 20-7 record. In their last test, Greater Cabarrus Stallions got by Surry HomeSchool (Mount Airy, NC), 69-43, in a non-league test.
