Fans at Friday's league challenge between the New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN) and the visiting Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN), saw New Palestine's basketball squad overcome Mt. Vernon by a tally of 66-52.

With the victory, New Palestine improves its record to 19-2 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Whiteland (Whiteland, IN) to confront the Warriors in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 18. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 8-13. Whiteland lost 68-65 in their recent league battle against Martinsville (Martinsville, IN)

The Marauders (13-8) will now prepare for their battle against Yorktown (Yorktown, IN). The Tigers come into the Hoosier Heritage battle with a 14-7 record. In their last battle, Yorktown was toppled by Wapahani (Selma, IN), 54-46, in a non-league battle.
