Virginia High School Basketball - Auburn overwhelms Galax

Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) and the host Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA), saw Auburn's basketball squad wallop Galax by a tally of 57-29.

With the victory, Auburn improves its record to 12-13 on the campaign.

Next up, the Maroon Tide play the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 21. Galax will attempt to improve on its 14-11 season record. The Fighting Blues come into the challenge with a 21-2 record after their 55-51 league win over Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA).
