The Baraga Vikings basketball team scored 64 points and held the host L'Anse Purple Hornets to 38 in the Vikings league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ewen-Trout Creek for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 8.

The Purple Hornets (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against West Iron County (Iron River, MI). The Wykons enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, West Iron County triumphed over Kingsford (Kingsford, MI), 63-51, in a non-league contest.
