With the victory, Vinton improves its record to 18-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Welsh (Welsh, LA) to confront the Greyhounds in a 2A District 5 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. Next up, the Hornets confront the Notre Dame Pioneers (Crowley, LA) in a 2A District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Grand Lake will attempt to improve on its 6-19 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 39-34 league loss to DeQuincy (DeQuincy, LA).
