January 30, 2024: Lake Charles, LA 70607 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lake Arthur Tigers (Lake Arthur, LA) and the host Grand Lake Hornets (Lake Charles, LA), saw Lake Arthur's basketball squad wallop Grand Lake by a tally of 85-57.
With the victory, Lake Arthur improves its record to 12-10 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Kinder (Kinder, LA) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 8-20. Kinder lost 65-46 in their recent non-league challenge against David Thibodaux (Lafayette, LA)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Vinton Lions (Vinton, LA) in a 2A District 5 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Grand Lake will attempt to improve on its 6-18 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 17-5 record after their 40-28 league loss to Notre Dame (Crowley, LA).
