The Draughn Wildcats basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Madison Patriots to 43 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rosman for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Draughn will battle a Tigers team coming off a 43-24 non-league loss to Owen (Black Mountain, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 0-10.

The Patriots (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Avery County (Newland, NC). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Avery County was defeated by Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC), 36-30, in a league contest.
