Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Hereford Whitefaces (Hereford, TX), 14-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Parkland upgrades its record to 7-4 on the year. The Matadors travel to Plainview (Plainview, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, February 21. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 2-1. Plainview lost 9-1 in their recent league game against Tascosa (Amarillo, TX)

The Whitefaces now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to El Paso for a non-league game on Friday, February 21. Hereford will play a Tigers squad coming off a 21-1 non-league win over Irvin (El Paso, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 3-5.
