The Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX) softball nipped the visiting El Dorado Aztecs (El Paso, TX), 4-3 in Friday's league outing.

The Matadors now sport a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Americas for a 5A Region I District 2 outing on Saturday, March 29. Parkland will encounter a Trail Blazers team coming off a 17-2 league win over Bel Air (El Paso, TX). The Trail Blazers record now stands at 12-13.

With the loss, El Dorado moves to 15-5 on the season. The Aztecs host Hanks (El Paso, TX) to encounter the Knights in a 5A Region I District 2 outing on Saturday, March 29. The Knights come into the outing with a record of 13-7. Hanks lost 11-1 in their recent league outing against Parkland (El Paso, TX)
