Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC) and the host Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC), saw Northwest Halifax's basketball squad hold off Northampton County by a tally of 63-57.

With the victory, Northwest Halifax improves its record to 18-10 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Southside (Chocowinity, NC) to confront the Seahawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a record of 24-6. Southside won 66-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC)
