Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC) and the visiting Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC), saw Northampton County's basketball squad wallop Wilson Prep by a tally of 69-13.

With the victory, Northampton County improves its record to 18-1 on the campaign.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC) in a 1A Conference 9 challenge, on Friday, February 10. Wilson Prep will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 68-30 league loss to Northampton County (Gaston, NC).
