Indiana High School Basketball - Eastern nips South Central
February 23, 2024: Elizabeth, IN 47117 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Eastern Musketeers (Pekin, IN) and the host South Central Rebels (Elizabeth, IN), saw Eastern's basketball squad hold off South Central by a count of 58-53.
With the victory, Eastern upgrades its record to 10-12 on the campaign. The Musketeers travel to Providence (Clarksville, IN) to play the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 16-3.
Next up, the Rebels play the Lanesville Eagles (Lanesville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 27. South Central will attempt to upgrade on its 17-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-17 record after their 42-38 non-league loss to Crawford County (Marengo, IN).
