Indiana High School Basketball - Borden tops Eastern
December 16, 2023: Borden, IN 47106 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Borden Braves (Borden, IN) and the visiting Eastern Musketeers (Pekin, IN), saw Borden's basketball squad knock off Eastern by a tally of 59-44.
With the victory, Borden improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Hauser (Hope, IN) to play the Jets in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Jets come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Hauser won 53-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Switzerland County (Vevay, IN)
Next up, the Musketeers play the New Washington Mustangs (New Washington, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Eastern will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 53-44 league win over Crothersville (Crothersville, IN).
