West Virginia High School Basketball - Bluefield over PikeView
February 24, 2023: Bluefield, WV 24701 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV) and the visiting PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV), saw Bluefield's basketball squad overcome PikeView by a tally of 59-46.
With the victory, Bluefield improves its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Beavers host Summers County (Hinton, WV) to play the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 1. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 11-10. Summers County won 75-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Montcalm (Montcalm, WV)
Next up, the Panthers play the Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 28. PikeView will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 13-9 record after their 81-41 league win over Meadow Bridge (Meadow Bridge, WV).
