Minnesota High School Basketball - Crosby-Ironton holds off Park Rapids
February 25, 2023: Park Rapids, MN 56470 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Crosby-Ironton Rangers (Crosby, MN) and the host Park Rapids Panthers (Park Rapids, MN), saw Crosby-Ironton's basketball squad hold off Park Rapids by a tally of 68-67.
With the victory, Crosby-Ironton improves its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Staples-Motley (Staples, MN) to confront the Cardinals in a AA Section 7 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 8-11. Staples-Motley lost 44-39 in their recent league challenge against Pequot Lakes (Pequot Lakes, MN)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines (Wadena, MN) in a AA Section 8 challenge, on Thursday, March 2. Park Rapids will attempt to improve on its 4-18 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 14-7 record after their 76-69 league loss to Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN).
