The Springstead Eagles baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Central Bears to 1 in the Eagles non-league win on Tuesday.

The Eagles now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to River Ridge for a 5A District 8 test on Thursday, February 27. Springstead will play a Royal Knights team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Cypress Creek (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Royal Knights record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Central drops to 2-3 on the year. The Bears travel to Fivay (Hudson, FL) to play the Falcons in a non-league test on Wednesday, February 26. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 0-6. Fivay lost 20-0 in their recent non-league test against Anclote (Holiday, FL)
