The Hernando Leopards baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Central Bears to 1 in the Leopards non-league win on Tuesday.

The Leopards now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Land O' Lakes for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 26. Hernando will play a Gators team coming off a 24-1 non-league win over Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL). The Gators record now stands at 9-8.

With the defeat, Central drops to 10-6 on the year. The Bears travel to Pasco (Dade City, FL) to play the Pirates in a 4A District 6 test on Wednesday, March 26. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 7-4. Pasco lost 7-1 in their recent non-league test against Auburndale (Auburndale, FL)
