Minnesota High School Basketball - Orono thwarts St. Louis Park
February 26, 2024: St. Louis Park, MN 55426 The Orono Spartans (Long Lake, MN) basketball knocked off the host St. Louis Park Orioles (St. Louis Park, MN), 84-68 in Monday's league test.
The Spartans (15-10) will now prepare for their test against Chaska (Chaska, MN). The Hawks go into the AAAA Section 2 test with a 11-14 record. In their last test, Chaska notched a victory over Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN), 81-75, in a non-league test.
The Orioles now own a 12-13 record. They play next when they host Waconia for a AAAA Section 2 test on Friday, March 1. St. Louis Park will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 101-70 league win over Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN). The Wildcats record now stands at 20-5.
