Maryland High School Basketball - Archbishop Curley overwhelms Chapelgate Christian Academy
February 3, 2023: Baltimore, MD 21213 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Archbishop Curley Friars (Baltimore, MD) and the visiting Chapelgate Christian Academy Yellowjackets (Marriottsville, MD), saw Archbishop Curley's basketball squad wallop Chapelgate Christian Academy by a count of 67-41.
With the victory, Archbishop Curley upgrades its record to 9-12 on the campaign. The Friars travel to Annapolis Area Christian (Severn, MD) to play the Eagles in a MIAA B challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-18.
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings (Buckeystown, MD) in a MIAA B challenge, on Monday, February 6. Chapelgate Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 18-6 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 12-12 record after their 64-57 league win over Friends (Baltimore, MD).
