The Ashe County Huskies basketball team (West Jefferson, NC), dropped 76-62 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC)

The Patriots now possess a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Watauga for a 3A/4A Conference 52 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Freedom will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 62-51 league loss to Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 11-11.
