Texas High School Basketball - King overwhelmed by Flour Bluff
February 3, 2023: Corpus Christi, TX 78418 The Flour Bluff Hornets basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting King Mustangs to 39 in the Hornets league victory on Friday.
The Hornets now sport a 21-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carroll for a 5A Region IV District 29 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Flour Bluff will battle a Tigers team coming off a 52-51 league loss to King (Corpus Christi, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 13-13.
The Mustangs (15-17) will now prepare for their contest against Corpus Christi Moody (Corpus Christi, TX). The Trojans come into the 5A Region IV District 29 contest with a 10-15 record. In their last contest, Corpus Christi Moody was routed by Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX), 88-73, in a league contest.
