Texas High School Basketball - Flour Bluff overwhelms Carroll
February 7, 2023: Corpus Christi, TX 78411 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Flour Bluff Hornets (Corpus Christi, TX) and the host Carroll Tigers (Corpus Christi, TX), saw Flour Bluff's basketball squad wallop Carroll by a tally of 66-42.
With the victory, Flour Bluff improves its record to 22-10 on the campaign. The Hornets host Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a 5A Region IV District 29 challenge on Monday, February 13. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 17-15.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Victoria East Titans (Victoria, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Friday, February 10. Carroll will attempt to improve on its 13-15 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 17-14 record after their 85-58 non-league loss to Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX).
