New York High School Basketball - Niagara-Wheatfield overwhelms Kenmore West
February 3, 2023: Sanborn, NY 14132 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Niagara-Wheatfield Falcons (Sanborn, NY) and the visiting Kenmore West Blue Devils (Buffalo, NY), saw Niagara-Wheatfield's basketball squad wallop Kenmore West by a tally of 80-50.
With the victory, Niagara-Wheatfield improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY) to confront the Flames in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Flames come into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Williamsville East lost 78-48 in their recent league challenge against Amherst Central (Amherst, NY)
Next up, the Blue Devils confront the North Tonawanda Lumberjacks (North Tonawanda, NY) in a Section 6 Niagara - Frontier challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Kenmore West will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Lumberjacks come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 52-51 league loss to Niagara-Wheatfield (Sanborn, NY).
