Nebraska High School Basketball - South Loup can't hold off Mullen
February 3, 2023: Mullen, NE 69152 The Mullen Broncos basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting South Loup to 40 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Friday.
The Broncos now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sandhills/Thedford for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Mullen will battle a Knights team coming off a 58-44 non-league loss to Ainsworth (Ainsworth, NE). The Knights record now stands at 11-6.
The (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Valley (Oxford, NE). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Southern Valley was nudged by Alma (Alma, NE), 43-39, in a non-league contest.
