The Valley View Eagles tipped the host S & S Consolidated Rams basketball team by a final score of 61-54 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 game, on Saturday, February 4. Valley View will attempt to move on its 13-16 season record. The Bearcats enter the game with a 11-12 record after their 59-41 league loss to Ponder (Ponder, TX).

With the defeat, S & S Consolidated moves to 2-22 on the year. The Rams travel to Boyd (Boyd, TX) to face the Yellowjackets in a 3A Region II District 10 game on Saturday, February 4.
