The Rural Retreat Indians basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Northwood Panthers to 11 in the Indians league victory on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Galax for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Rural Retreat will battle a Maroon Tide team coming off a 62-26 league win over Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 12-8.

The Panthers (0-22) will now prepare for their contest against Holston (Damascus, VA). The Cavaliers come into the Hogoheegee contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, Holston was routed by Lebanon (Lebanon, VA), 51-29, in a league contest.
