North Carolina High School Basketball - West Cabarrus can't hold off Mooresville
February 3, 2023: Mooresville, NC 28115 The Mooresville Blue Devils basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the visiting West Cabarrus Wolverines to 35 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Friday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to A.L. Brown for a contest on Tuesday, February 7. Mooresville will battle a Wonders team coming off a 47-36 non-league win over South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Wonders record now stands at 10-9.
The Wolverines (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Huskies come into the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Hough edged Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC), 46-37, in a league contest.
