North Carolina High School Basketball - Mooresville nips Cox Mill
January 20, 2023: Concord, NC 28027 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC) and the host Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC), saw Mooresville's basketball squad hold off Cox Mill by a tally of 44-41.
With the victory, Mooresville improves its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC) to play the Ragin' Bulls in a challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Ragin' Bulls come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Hickory Ridge won 52-34 in their recent non-league challenge against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC)
Next up, the Chargers play the West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Cox Mill will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 41-25 non-league win over South Iredell (Statesville, NC).
