North Carolina High School Basketball - West Cabarrus edges Cox Mill
January 24, 2023: Concord, NC 28027 The West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) basketball nipped the host Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC), 49-46 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wolverines (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Lake Norman got by A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC), 53-40, in a league test.
The Chargers now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to A.L. Brown for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. Cox Mill will encounter a Wonders squad coming off a 62-22 non-league win over West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Wonders record now stands at 8-7.
