Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), 61-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Forest Hills upgrades its record to 17-5 on the season. The Yellow Jackets host Monroe (Monroe, NC) to play the Redhawks in a 2A/3A Conference 44 bout on Friday, February 11. The Redhawks go into the bout with a record of 15-5.

Next up, the Cougars play the Arborbrook Christian Academy Falcons (Matthews, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 8. Central Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-17 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 54-31 non-league loss to Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC).
