North Carolina High School Basketball - Porter Ridge fells Central Academy

November 23, 2021: Monroe, NC 28112

Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), 42-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Porter Ridge upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Pirates host Butler (Matthews, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 30. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Cougars play the Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 30. Central Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 46-40 non-league loss to Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC).
