West Virginia High School Basketball - Marietta can't hold off Point Pleasant

February 4, 2023: Point Pleasant, WV 25550

The Point Pleasant Big Blacks basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Marietta Tigers to 43 in the Big Blacks league triumph on Saturday.

The Big Blacks now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Philip Barbour for a Big Ten contest on Wednesday, February 8.

The Tigers (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Federal Hocking (Stewart, OH). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 18-2 record. In their last contest, Federal Hocking nudged Trimble (Glouster, OH), 81-66, in a league contest.
