Arkansas High School Basketball - Piggott nips Osceola
February 4, 2023: Osceola, AR 72370 Piggott Mohawks (Piggott, AR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Osceola Seminoles (Osceola, AR), 63-61 in a league bout.
With the win, Piggott upgrades its record to 9-13 on the season. The Mohawks host Gosnell (Gosnell, AR) to play the Pirates in a 3A Region 3 bout on Monday, February 6. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 9-11. Gosnell won 71-49 in their recent non-league bout against Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR)
Next up, the Seminoles play the Rivercrest Colts (Wilson, AR) in a 3A Region 3 bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Osceola will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record.
