The Liberty Mountaineers basketball squad (Clarksburg, WV), was outscored 67-54 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV)

With the victory, Preston advances its record to 8-5 on the year. The Knights travel to Lincoln (Shinnston, WV) to meet the Cougars in a Big Ten battle on Thursday, February 6. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 3-9. Lincoln lost 80-69 in their recent league battle against Lewis County (Weston, WV)

The Mountaineers now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Fairmont for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 6. Liberty will meet a Bees squad coming off a 81-32 non-league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Bees record now stands at 4-7.
