February 4, 2025: Slinger, WI 53086 Slinger Owls (Slinger, WI) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting West Bend East Suns (West Bend, WI), 92-34 in a league match.
With the victory, Slinger advances its record to 18-1 on the year. The Owls host Homestead (Mequon, WI) to face the Highlanders in a North Shore match on Thursday, February 6. The Highlanders enter the match with a record of 14-5. Homestead won 81-65 in their recent league match against Hartford (Hartford, WI)
The Suns now own a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wauwatosa West for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 5. West Bend East will face a Trojans squad coming off a 88-85 league win over Menomonee Falls (Menomonee Falls, WI). The Trojans record now stands at 11-6.
