Kentucky High School Basketball - Union County fells Trigg County
February 4, 2025: Morganfield, KY 42437 The Union County Braves basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Trigg County Wildcats to 53 in the Braves non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Braves now have a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Henderson County for a District 6 game on Friday, February 7. Union County will confront a Colonels team coming off a 56-40 league win over Webster County (Dixon, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 17-5.
With the loss, Trigg County falls to 7-14 on the campaign. The Wildcats host McLean County (Calhoun, KY) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Friday, February 7. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 12-9. McLean County lost 63-57 in their recent non-league game against Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY)
