New York High School Basketball - Catholic Central winner over Lansingburgh
February 5, 2022: Troy, NY 12182 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Catholic Central Crusaders (Troy, NY) basketball squad felled the host Lansingburgh Knights (Troy, NY), by a margin of 66-55.
The Crusaders (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Fonda-Fultonville (Fonda, NY). The Braves go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Fonda-Fultonville thwarted Northville (Northville, NY), 59-34, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now own a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to La Salle Institute for a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty outing on Tuesday, February 8. Lansingburgh will encounter a Cadets squad coming off a 88-52 league win over Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY). The Cadets record now stands at 8-7.

CCHS offset J Oliver's 8 points with 5 different players getting baskets in the 2nd, 30 - 23 Crusaders at the break
Third Quarter
N Riley and S Roberson had 5 each in the 3rd increasing the lead 45 - 35
Fourth Quarter
Lots of scoring in the 4th A Green and J Oliver combined for 17 but N Riley (7) and C Gemmill (6) each hit two big momentum 3's in the fourth, D Moore made 4 of 4 FT as CCHS won 66 - 55
