Virginia High School Basketball - Lee knocked off by Twin Springs
February 5, 2024: Jonesville, VA 24263 The Twin Springs Titans basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Lee Generals to 50 in the Titans non-league triumph on Monday.
The Titans now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host J.I. Burton for a Cumberland contest on Tuesday, February 6. Twin Springs will battle a Black Raiders team coming off a 64-30 league loss to Eastside (Coeburn, VA). The Black Raiders record now stands at 3-14.
The Generals (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Rye Cove ran past Castlewood (Castlewood, VA), 87-81, in a league contest.
