Tennessee High School Basketball - Hixson ripped by Brainerd
February 6, 2023: Chattanooga, TN 37411 The Brainerd Panthers basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Hixson Wildcats to 30 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marion County for a 2A District 4 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Brainerd will meet a Warriors team coming off a 66-36 non-league win over Whitwell (Whitwell, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 9-17.
The Wildcats (0-23) will now prepare for their contest against Berean Academy (Hixson, TN). The Eagle enter the non-league contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Berean Academy triumphed over Mount Pisgah Christian Academy (Oliver Springs, TN), 66-30, in a non-league contest.
