Illinois High School Basketball - Henry-Senachwine can't hold off Stark County
February 6, 2023: Toulon, IL 61483 The Stark County Rebels basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Henry-Senachwine Mallards to 51 in the Rebels non-league victory on Monday.
The Rebels now sport a 15-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Galva for a Lincoln Trail contest on Tuesday, February 7. Stark County will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 58-17 non-league loss to Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-27.
The Mallards (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against DePue (DePue, IL). The Little Giants come into the non-league contest with a 4-18 record. In their last contest, DePue was nudged by Illinois Math & Science Academy (Aurora, IL), 44-12, in a non-league contest.
