Stark County Rebels (Toulon, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Biggsville West Central Heat (Biggsville, IL), 58-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Stark County upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Rebels host ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 18-6. ROWVA/Williamsfield won 51-44 in their recent non-league bout against Annawan (Annawan, IL)
