New York High School Basketball - Cornwall Central can't hold off Warwick
February 6, 2024: New Windsor, NY 12553 The Warwick Wildcats basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Cornwall Central Dragons to 43 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Goshen Central for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9.
The Dragons (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY). The Warriors enter the Section 9 Orange County II contest with a 2-15 record. In their last contest, Minisink Valley was nudged by Valley Central (Montgomery, NY), 51-49, in a league contest.
