New York High School Basketball - Goshen Central overwhelmed by Warwick
February 9, 2024: Warwick, NY 10990 The Warwick Wildcats basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Goshen Central Gladiators to 35 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Central for a Section 9 Orange County II contest on Monday, February 12. Warwick will battle a Vikings team coming off a 45-32 league win over Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 11-7.
The Gladiators (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY). The Warriors come into the Section 9 Orange County II contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, Minisink Valley triumphed over Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY), 58-53, in a league contest.
