The Starmount Rams topped the visiting Elkin Buckin' Elks basketball team by a final score of 56-44 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Rams face the Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC) in a 1A Northwest game, on Wednesday, February 7. Starmount will attempt to move on its 8-11 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 7-13 record after their 48-29 league loss to East Wilkes (Ronda, NC).
