February 6, 2024: Monticello, AR 71655 The Watson Chapel Wildcats (Pine Bluff, AR) basketball nipped the host Monticello Billies (Monticello, AR), 42-40 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wildcats (13-12) will now prepare for their test against Star City (Star City, AR). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Region 8 test with a 6-16 record.
The Billies now own a 8-16 record. They play next when they travel to Crossett for a 4A Region 8 test on Friday, February 9. Monticello will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 69-41 league loss to Mills University Studies (Little Rock, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 8-19.
